Function centre; Middle Head
On a site engrossed in Aboriginal and Military history the function centre becomes an object in the landscape. Linking to the military structures the utilitarian building is a simple and box-like concrete form containing the services required for the brief. An over-arching steel structure with adjustable panel forms the out door entertaining area and forces the users of the building to interact wholly with this rich historical site.
