HOPMEIER Project - Intelligent Architecture

Alterations and additions to an existing three-storey residence originally built as a 1950’s double brick cottage and renovated in the 1990’s. The site is within a Bushfire (Flame Zone) Area

My role involved working with the Architect and Clients to take the schematic design through design development phase and onto contract documentation stage. Working closely with the clients. I prepared the tender documents and conducted cost analysis of the final tender prices, involving a thorough analysis of the feasibility of the project against the opinion of probable cost. The project began construction phase in August 2010 and part of my role was putting together the final contract package, and a continued role in updating any changes to the package. The contract is a Cost Plus between the owner and contractor. I had a role in advising the client through the contract administration process and attending monthly site meetings.

Project date for completion December 2011.
