President of the Sydney Univerisity Architecture Society (SUAS) 2008

In October 2007 I was elected President of the Sydney University Architecture Society, which gave me the opportunity to sit on the Faculty Board and Architecture Alumni Association. My positions on these boards were met with respect from the fellow staff members and practitioners associated with the University. They appreciated my professional and approachable communication skills. My role as President also gave me the opportunity of getting to know both staff and students from all years and tiers of the Faculty. The role of President requires organisation, dedication, professionalism and also an optimistic nature. I brought all these traits and more to my role, and my hard work was rewarded by the increased inter-connection between students from all years of Architecture, Design and Planning. I still enjoy being a member of the University's Architecture Alumni Association Board.
